  10. Las Brisas Farm in Fayetteville, Texas is a beautiful and unique, outdoor wedding facility developed to share God's love, peace, and grace--country, garden weddings revealing the best of nature.

Las Brisas Farm is centrally-located, about: 30 min. from Brenham, 1 hour from College Station,1 hour from Katy, 1 hour from Austin/Bergstrom Airport--close enough for guests to return home after an event or stay in charming bed and breakfasts.

  11. I had my wedding at Forest Creek Country Club last January. It was great! We had our wedding at a church and then just went their for the reception, it was really good because we did our coctail hour inside, then went outside for dinner and then later came back in for cake cutting and toasts. I liked it because they had alot of options and I think our guests definitely enjoyed it. They also had a couple of buffets going and a few bars that were open, so even with 350 guests, no one really had to wait for anything. I think Forest Creek is now Bella Lago at Forest Creek, we went to check it out again since my friend is getting married this Fall and they had their new name out. Anyways, good luck wedding planning to all you brides out there, and make sure not to get stressed out and to have FUN!

Austin 71 Beautiful location and the venue it self was pleasant but I feel that at the price we paid grounds would have been kept up. Door knobs were missing from the other side of doors. It was extremely hot inside the building. My wedding was schedule to be at 7 p.m and the building was hot the entire time the bridesmaids, bride, groom and groomsmen were getting dressed. Apparently the a.c was not turned on till 2 p.m that day. I the bride was schedule to get ready at the venue at 4 p.m. This is Texas in June Everyone knows it is hottttt!!!!! It would have made more sense to turn on the a.c the night before maybe when we went to do the venue for rehearsal. I am not one to complain and could had blew off a few miss haves but the 1 ultimate thing that irritated me the most was the women in charge/owner of the venue. It was very hard to get a hold of her. I would call and leave messages numerous times and she would never return my phone call but as soon as i e-mailed her a week later I received a response saying she got my message. My DJ and Florist even had a hard time reaching her. They would call me asking if there were other numbers to call. They had questions that could only be answered by the venue owner since the premisses is gated. I work full time, go to college full time, and was planning my own wedding and still managed to check my e-mail and voicemail on a regular bias. So by the time my wedding day came and the wedding venue/ coordinator was not there and sent in another person because another event came up, and the building was extremely hot the venue lost a lot of brownie points with me. It brought on a lot of unneeded stress. She kissed our asses to get us to sign the contract and put down the deposit before the end of the year but as soon as that was done everything went down hill.

  19. I think that when choosing the venue it must be well planned and you got to check your budget you may have a wonderful venue but if you don't have the budget for the decoration and catering it wouldn't be successful.
