Ways to Avoid the Top Wedding Scams and How to Walk Down the Aisle Worry-Free!


The good people over at the Better Business Bureau have compiled a list of the top Wedding Scams and offers advice on how to avoid them:


Scam #1: The Bridal Shop Sells Used or Damaged Wedding Gowns as New or Substitute Knock-offs for Couture

Scam #2: The Limousine Service Doesn't Show Up or Has Wrong Vehicle

Scam #3: The Musician does not Show Up to the Wedding

Scam #4: The Wedding Photographer Doesn't Produce Photos as Promised

Scam #5: The Wedding Disc Jockey Doesn't Provide Services As Promised

Scam #6: The Florist Short Changes the Number of Flowers in the Centerpieces

Scam #7: The Jeweler Switches the Diamond during Cleaning

Another wedding scam that I recently read about was regarding certain big-name department stores increasing the prices for items that are submitted to a bridal registry.  Make sure you compare the prices of the items on your gift registry with the pricing on the store shelves.
