We are about 6 months away from our big day and we're pretty much "on schedule" with our overall wedding planning. We've booked the venue, found a great photographer, booked the perfect DJ, reserved the reception catering and of course, bought the dress. With so many "big" things to knock off the to-do list, it's easy for a lot of the smaller details be to overlooked. To help put my mind at ease, I've been researching something called a "Wedding Day Emergency Kit" that I feel is a must have for any organized bride.
So, what exactly is a Wedding Day Emergency Kit?
In essence, a bridal emergency kit is simply a collection of everyday common items that when grouped together, create a useful assortment of things that a bride might need at the last minute on her wedding day. Think of it as a Martha Stewart survival kit for the bride.
While it's impossible to try and predict every single scenario that might happen while you prepare on your wedding day, a little proper planning that could go a long way in making sure the day goes off without any major setbacks. With that being said, it's totally up to you on how extensive of an emergency kit that you want to put together. Personally, I think it's better to have something and not need it than it would be to stress myself out over a situation I can't easily remedy. So before you get any further into your wedding planning, check out the items below and jot down a few things that you feel could be super handy on your wedding day. This is one instance where more might be better.
Here's an comprehensive list of items that every bride might want to include in her day-of wedding emergency bride kit.
