Whenever someone emails me asking for the average cost of anything wedding related, I always point them over to WeddingStats.org. Simple to use and full of interesting bridal tidbits, this website is a smart way to compare your wedding budget to what other U.S. couples are spending their dollars on.
Definitely a resource to bookmark.
Happy planning :)

We used an iPod for our wedding reception. It was a COMPLETE disaster! I'd pay $700+ for a wedding dj any day. Lesson learned.
ReplyDeleteRenee - thanks for sharing. You may have just saved another bride from having a disaster. :)
DeleteI find that site kind of intimidating.... :-/
ReplyDeleteShould have thrown in the cost of a wedding photographer. Cost me about 750 for the wedding, without a wedding album. It was brutal, but me and the wife found a DIY album company named bridebox (http://www.bridebox.com) off of brides.com and it saved us some money. I would say that weddingstats.com is pretty accurate, which is the scary part for young people getting married today.
